When the disciples were alone with Jesus, they turned to him and asked, “Why were we not able to cast out the demon? He answered: “Because your faith is so small. Amen, I tell you: If your faith is even as big as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there!’ and it will move away. Nothing will be impossible to you.”
When Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he replied, “The kingdom of God does not come in such a way that you can recognize it by outward signs. Nor can you say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For: the kingdom of God is (already) in the midst of you.”
