We totally fell under it’s charme.
Good Hotel trains and re-integrates unemployed locals who are living off welfare, some since years!.. and re-invests its profits into education, training and entrepreneurship. They buy food from local markets and help in every possible way the local community, in offering an incredible overnight experience, yoga, seminaries, 145 beds with a few, finest local food restaurant. The Good Hotel also collaborates with other hotels in town in order to inspire them to follow their example.
Plus, they move. Good Hotel started in Amsterdam, now they’re in London.
We just LOVE the way they proceed! What an adventure with a view and pure inspiration.
Linking business with doing good, what else? It’s just AWESOME!
We’d love to know the man behind this hotel, the Dutch entrepreneur Marten Dresen, who, before that, already ran an NGO in Central America helping 400 children to get education.
