Non-Violence Project is a non-profit organization promoting social change through education. Our mission is to help put an end to the everyday violence. We chose to develop and provide programs that promote self-esteem, non-violence, conflict management and entrepreneurship. This is how we give young people solutions to face bullying, understand cultural differences and take charge of their own lives. Over the years we trained over 6 million students, teachers and sports coaches on five continents.
Our symbol, the Knotted Gun, was made as a tribute to John Lennon after his death. It helps us spread the message of non-violence through exhibitions featuring knotted gun replicas designed by our ambassadors.
We believe that education is the best weapon against violence and that our work will insure a brighter future to the children benefiting from it.
