Out of Switzerland.. She had won a great photo competition we organized many years ago, and her prize was a trip to Hawaii at the Pipeline Pro as a 7sky journalist. The text she submitted was absolutely great at first sight, and when we noticed that we’d need a ‘intern’, we’ve called her, and by great chance, she offered us one year of her time. Thanks to our mag, she jetted around the globe, and came in the taste of her whole potential. Jil Karl is an absolutely passionate person, a writer, a translator, a life-lover, a ride-lover, and wherever she goes, people fall under the charm of this tall blond lady who eats up life with her whole being. As fast as she came to us, Jil left us again one year after. Today, she works for On Shoes and organises the Alpine Splitboard Festival. And we do do know that she continues to carry 7sky in her heart. We’ll see where all this takes us.
